The box-type substation, or prefabricated substation, is light, easy to install and maintain, and has a neat appearance. It is well-suited for use in industrial areas, cities, parks, and residential neighborhoods. This type of substation contains high-voltage switchgear, busbars, an automation system, communication units, remote control, metering equipment, capacitor compensation, and DC power units, all packed into a weather-proof, rust-proof, dust-proof, rodent-proof, fire-proof, theft-proof, insulated, and fully enclosed steel box. The box uses high-quality materials and technology, with an outer shell of aluminum-zinc-coated steel, which is rust-resistant for up to 20 years. Inside, it has insulation for fire protection, air conditioning, and a dehumidifier, allowing it to work well in extreme temperatures (-40°C to +40°C).
